While reading "Way of a Pilgrim" some years back, I learned about chotki and prayer without ceasing. I had a very difficult time finding a chotki, but finally found a guy in New York who sold me chotkis for a couple years. After finding that wool chotki wore out quickly for me, I began making bead chotki 5 or 6 years ago. Prior to that I had never beaded a thing!
As I improved on my craft, friends started asking if I would make one for them, and eventually started selling them on ebay and now on Bonanzle.com. The bulk of my sales are still local, I'm happy to see things steadily improve on my Steve's Chotki website at www.ChotkiSteve.com - check it out when you have a chance!
